Astronomicum Caesareum is the new release by Siana Press. This digital copy contains 38 hand-colored woodcuts illustrations. In the physical book many of these illustrations are volvelles: a rotating paper wheel which show planetary motion and the movements of the stars. These images were minimally cleaned in hopes to better display the beauty of the original design.
