Harmonia Macrocosmica
Harmonia Macrocosmica is a star atlas written by Andreas Cellarius and published in 1660. The first part of the atlas contains prints depicting the world systems of Claudius Ptolemy, Nicolaus Copernicus and Tycho Brahe. The 29 hand-coloured maps are probably the most artistic renditions of the scientific ideas of his time.
